Oregon Apostille Process Requirements

An Oregon Apostille is necessary if your document was issued in Oregon and will be used outside of the United States. The Apostille must be attached to documents that have the official signature and seal of the Oregon State Registrar or a notary public currently in commission.

In the state of Oregon, the original document must be signed by a public official (the county/court clerk or registrar) if it is recordable, or signed and stamped by a local notary public if it is not. The Oregon Secretary of State's Office then processes the apostille.

Oregon Apostille processing normally takes up to three days, plus extra time for mailing. To ensure no delays with the processing time, always include the name of the nation requesting the apostille when requesting an Oregon Apostille or Certificate of Authentication.

We can also process documents issued from all 50 U.S. states, the District of Columbia, and the U.S. Federal Government.
