China Embassy Legalization, Attestation, Certification, and Authentication (No Apostille Accepted)

Updated: Jul 21

Are you required to get your documents legalized by the China Embassy in Washington, D.C.?

American Apostille & Notary Services offers legalization services through the China Embassy. Legalization, attestation, certification, and authentication by the China Embassy are some of the services we provide. An FBI background check, diploma, and business related paperwork are the most typical documents we can legalize through the Chinese Embassy in Washington, D.C.

The Hague Apostille Convention does not apply to China (Convention of 5 October 1961 Abolishing the Requirement of Legalization for Foreign Public Documents). Secretary of State certification, US Department of State certification, and China Embassy legalization are all required for documents delivered to this country. In order for China to accept your documents, you must go through this three-step process. American Apostille & Notary Services presently works with the Chinese Embassy in Washington, D.C. to process paperwork.

There is no margin for error with the Authentication or Apostille process. If mistakes are made, both your time and money will be wasted and you'll have to start all over again. If you want to look into outsourcing this part of preparing to studying abroad to someone with experience, please email me at jared@apostillellc.com or call 848-467-7740 to request my services or learn more.
