Privacy Policy
Operated by American Apostille. Effective October 31, 2026.
American Apostille is a document authentication service available through Muse. It answers questions about what a U.S. document needs to be accepted overseas and lets you start a service inquiry. This policy explains what information the connector handles and why.
Information we handle
The requirements lookup asks only for a document type and a destination country. It answers from a static knowledge base and does not collect your name or contact details, and lookups are not stored as personal records.
If you start an inquiry, you provide: your name, an email address or phone number, the document type, the destination country, and anything you choose to add in an optional notes field. The connector returns an inquiry reference for that submission. We do not ask for, and you should not provide, payment card numbers, passwords, Social Security numbers, or copies or scans of your documents through the connector.
How we use it
Inquiry information is used only to respond to you and manage your request: reviewing what you need, following up with your next steps and instructions, and keeping a record of the inquiry under its reference.
Who else is involved
Hosting: the service runs on Cloudflare (Workers and D1 database), where inquiry records are stored.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties other than the hosting provider above as needed to run the service.
Retention and your choices
Inquiry records are kept so we can respond to and manage requests and maintain business records. You may ask for your inquiry data to be deleted at any time by emailing Jared@ApostilleLLC.com, and we will delete it unless we are required to retain a record by law.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address. Questions: Jared@ApostilleLLC.com or (848) 467-7740.
