When you need to apostille a Minnesota marriage certificate, you will need to make sure to have a certified copy of the vital record beforehand. If you need to order one, your best bet is to go through the Minnesota Department of Health. Here's what their website says about obtaining one:


Copies of certificates of marriage are available from the county that issued the marriage license.


Anyone can look up marriage records in Minnesota Official Marriage System (MOMS), a searchable database of marriage certificates. Minnesota counties designed and manage MOMS.
