Apostille for Bill of Lading
A bill of lading (BL or BoL) is a legal document that specifies the type, quantity, and destination of the goods being transported and is provided by a carrier to a shipper. When the carrier delivers the goods to a prearranged location, the bill of lading also serves as a shipment receipt. This document must be signed by an authorized representative from the carrier, shipper, and receiver and must accompany the shipped products, regardless of mode of transit.
When this document originates in the United States for an international shipment, sometimes an apostille is required by the Secretary of State in the state of origin. American Apostille & Notary Services can facilitate this requirement. Feel free to fill out the order form below for a quote to start the process.
